Nearing the end...

Three.

Weeks.

Left.

I can't express how much I want school to be over! I got a job at my internship which is beyond amazing. I am so happy and have a HUGE office! I have been shopping online for artwork to put on my walls as well as office organization things. I know I will be made fun of, but it is so hard to do work in a clutter!

I never wrote about this, but on January 21, Ravi passed away. I'll write about it later, I'm just not ready yet. Anyways, my parents have been searching for a pup ever since and to say it has been a process is such an understatement. They have been talking to a breeder recently in New York, who let them know yesterday that momma dog has 6-8 strong heartbeats in her tummy. This is great news.

I'm outta here, I have to stop procrastinating on my papers.

This is how I will feel when I'm done:

Hello to you too!

What a cute little guy, right?

I'm at school right now, and I am getting really tired!!! Last night I was awake from 3:30 am - 5:30 am. At one point, around 5 am, I thought to myself: Maybe I should just stay awake, because it is going to be so hard to wake up in the morning. But eventually, I went to sleep. And was wide awake when I woke up this morning. I felt a little bad for waking up Jason so many times.

I've been feeling really anxious lately. I have been eating less, and I think that is adding to the anxiety. I almost feel like eating calms the jitters, like- physically. Is that bizarre? Yesterday I drank coffee and it was awful. I don't know if this is just all in my head? Maybe writing about it will take some of its power away. The other option is to hold it all in and be anxious about being anxious. Boo.

Part of this anxiety is surely the wedding- More specifically, the crazy woman who is in charge of planning events at my venue. They changed the package, which makes it not really a package anymore. Everything was included before - cake, flowers, etc. Now, there's just basics, like water and bread. The woman in charge is so unorganized- After discussing my old package, for which I signed a contract, we had worked out a plan that she would credit me for certain items- cake, flowers, etc. She emailed me yesterday saying she had no idea about my having the other package, because she is not the one who made the reservation for me. So, what the heck?! <-- Credit to Katie for inspiring me to fix up my foul language.

There are a few other bumps in the road that I have encountered on my journey to being a Livingston, but I don't want to give it away all at once. Stay tuned, friends. Or Friend. Or just Katie!

Well hey there.

It's been so long, and so much has happened. I am seven weeks away from graduating. I can't wait to be done with school forever. It's actually starting to hit me that I'm one of those people that's almost done with school. School and my career path have been so much of who I am and what I do- so now what?!

AHHHHHH I'm an adult!!!

Bored...

Well, I'm at my internship and I am SO bored.

Tomorrow Jason and I are driving to Pennsylvania for his grandfather's 90th birthday! It should be a good time- I love Jason's extended family.

Sunday we're having Christmas with my parents and then Monday we'll have it with Jason's parents and his brother, Corey.

THEN on January 6th, late at night, Jason and I will board a plane headed to San Juan, Puerto Rico. January 7th, we will board a ship and hang out in the Southern Caribbean for 7 nights!!! Woooo excitement!

Wow it's been so long!

Hey there! I apologize to all of my avid followers (Katie and Jason (Jason actually only reads it when I tell him to...))for not updating for forever!!!

Things are good, a little stressful and anxiety-provoking, but good.

School. Is not fun. I'm seriously just waiting, doing my work, and then waiting again for the semester, then year, to be finished.

I can't wait to not have to go to school ever again.

I can't wait for weekends with no work or readings hanging over my head! I can't wait for no papers and reference lists! I can't wait to get paid!

This is what I would like to be doing now:

Bises my friends!

Ravi-licious

After I went to rehab and got clean (2006), I was super-duper lonely when I returned home (2007). All of my friends were back at UMass, where I could no longer go, and I didn't know anyone who was or wanted to live the new life I had.
Enter Ravi!

...the cutest Portuguese Water Dog on Earth.

My parents agreed to get a pooch to keep me company during my online classes and weekend nights at home. He has been a big part in my staying clean.

When he was little, Ravi was such a happy little nugget with so much energy. He would get two hour-long walks every day and run around the house like a crazy-man after both. He liked bananas, yogurt, and the end of my dad's raspberry popsicles.

For the past few years, Ravi has been having some health problems. His tummy doesn't absorb the nutrients in his food. He has lost about 10-lbs., and for a pup that was only 40-43 lbs. to begin with, that is a lot. His energy has been low...

After two years of struggling to find a solution, Ravi started seeing a holistic vet a couple of months ago. He is on a special diet and oodles of supplements. Unfortunately, Ravi still wasn't gaining weight until they started the steroids a couple of weeks ago.

Since then, Ravi has had more pep in his step and has been extremely hungry. Last week, he gained 0.3 lbs!!! My mom takes him to get weighed every Wednesday. This week, the scale showed that he gained...
0.4 lbs.!!! for a total of 32.7 lbs!

This is the first time in about three years that his weight has gone up. Ravi is a happy boy again and will be roley-poley in no time! Here is a picture from the other night:

Jason and his pics.

Jason is my fiancé, and my favorite person ever. Jason finds hilarious pictures online and I always want to save them somewhere, or share them with people. Good thing I have this handy blog now!

Today is Halloween!...
