Bored...

Well, I'm at my internship and I am SO bored.

Tomorrow Jason and I are driving to Pennsylvania for his grandfather's 90th birthday! It should be a good time- I love Jason's extended family.

Sunday we're having Christmas with my parents and then Monday we'll have it with Jason's parents and his brother, Corey.

THEN on January 6th, late at night, Jason and I will board a plane headed to San Juan, Puerto Rico. January 7th, we will board a ship and hang out in the Southern Caribbean for 7 nights!!! Woooo excitement!

Wow it's been so long!

Hey there! I apologize to all of my avid followers (Katie and Jason (Jason actually only reads it when I tell him to...))for not updating for forever!!!

Things are good, a little stressful and anxiety-provoking, but good.

School. Is not fun. I'm seriously just waiting, doing my work, and then waiting again for the semester, then year, to be finished.

I can't wait to not have to go to school ever again.

I can't wait for weekends with no work or readings hanging over my head! I can't wait for no papers and reference lists! I can't wait to get paid!

This is what I would like to be doing now:

Ravi-licious

After I went to rehab and got clean (2006), I was super-duper lonely when I returned home (2007). All of my friends were back at UMass, where I could no longer go, and I didn't know anyone who was or wanted to live the new life I had.
Enter Ravi!

...the cutest Portuguese Water Dog on Earth.

My parents agreed to get a pooch to keep me company during my online classes and weekend nights at home. He has been a big part in my staying clean.

When he was little, Ravi was such a happy little nugget with so much energy. He would get two hour-long walks every day and run around the house like a crazy-man after both. He liked bananas, yogurt, and the end of my dad's raspberry popsicles.

For the past few years, Ravi has been having some health problems. His tummy doesn't absorb the nutrients in his food. He has lost about 10-lbs., and for a pup that was only 40-43 lbs. to begin with, that is a lot. His energy has been low...

After two years of struggling to find a solution, Ravi started seeing a holistic vet a couple of months ago. He is on a special diet and oodles of supplements. Unfortunately, Ravi still wasn't gaining weight until they started the steroids a couple of weeks ago.

Since then, Ravi has had more pep in his step and has been extremely hungry. Last week, he gained 0.3 lbs!!! My mom takes him to get weighed every Wednesday. This week, the scale showed that he gained...
0.4 lbs.!!! for a total of 32.7 lbs!

This is the first time in about three years that his weight has gone up. Ravi is a happy boy again and will be roley-poley in no time! Here is a picture from the other night:

Jason and his pics.

Jason is my fiancé, and my favorite person ever. Jason finds hilarious pictures online and I always want to save them somewhere, or share them with people. Good thing I have this handy blog now!

Today is Halloween!...
Ha! A window-washer dressed as Spiderman

Here are a couple of my favorites...
Jason called this one:

Can't live without...

I don't know what it is about Wes Welker, but I think I would be a different person if I didn't know him.

...Or know of him. No, I do not know him personally. Whatever.

I wouldn't call it a crush... Or an obsession. And, while he is a cute little man, his looks do not contribute to my.... liking. It may be because he is the ultimate nugget!

Welker is (in my mind) the best wide receiver on the New England Patriots. I think this is largely due to his compact body, which he navigates through defensive players with such grace

But seriously... He's a really fantastic football player and represents us nuggets very well! We have abilities, too!

Here is another photo which displays his magnificently small size:

I write this despite the heartbreaking game that I am watching right now. Heartbreaking.

Bises to my Wes Welker, who is surely as heartbroken as his fans tonight.

Bunnies!

My new friend Katie is an avid blogger. I want to try it because I LOVE reading her blog! I think I'll probably copy hers for a while until I figure out my own style.

I guess I will begin blogging about two nuggets who will probably be 95% of the contents of this blog.

This is Barnaby. He is 1 1/2-years old and is a 3-lb. Holland Lop. We've had him since he was a baby.

This is Meadow. She is a rescue, so we don't know exactly how old she is, but we suspect around 3-years old. She is a 6-lb. Mini Lop, literally twice the size of her bestie.

Barnaby and Meadow are besties.

That's all for now,

Bises! (Bises is short for bisoux, which in French means "kisses.")
